Who we are
Living Stones is a fellowship of believers that have come together as a church based on a common desire to see the Gospel put in action in their lives, their families and the life of our communities.
What we teach
We are reformed in doctrine, in that we hold to the Five Solas of the Reformation. This teaching includes that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone to the glory of God alone based on the Scripture alone.

CHURCH MINISTRYOPORTUNITIES
We have many opportunities to volunteer for ministry at Living Stones. We are committed to our community both inside and around our church. PB&J Assembly and Delivery is on the fourth Thursday of the month (May-October). The Food Ministry happens weekly and our partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank to local housing and area. The clothing ministry we have partnered with A Mother’s Love and other local community organizations to meet that need. .
Meet our pastor & wife
Jeremiah Griffin is our pastor and leading us to put the Gospel in Action! A graduate of Maranatha Baptist University, Jeremiah is currently working on his MDiv. from The North American Reformed Seminary. Pastor Jeremiah is married to his wife and awesome mother Tancy Griffin . They have seven children and celebrate what God is doing in their home. Jeremiah preaches expository styled messages with details in the meaning and context of a particular text or passage of Scripture. It explains what the Bible means by what it says.
We are currently teaching through the Bible in the Book of Mark @ Living Stones Saturday and our Wednesday Night Bible study is on the The names of God
What we believe & Who we partner with
Living Stones as a church holds to the the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith as a guide for doctrinal specificity.
Together we are stronger and we use the Baptist Faith and Message to have a standard for cooperation.
