Who we are

Living Stones is a fellowship of believers that have come together as a church based on a common desire to see the Gospel put in action in their lives, their families and the life of our communities.

What we teach

We are reformed in doctrine, in that we hold to the Five Solas of the Reformation. This teaching includes that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone to the glory of God alone based on the Scripture alone.

Actions speak louder than words

We have many opportunities for reaching the lost in Rockford and the surrounding area. Clothing & Food ministry as well as together cosponsored events to reach the lost and add to the Kingdom. #815forJESUS

Church Ministry

We have many opportunities to volunteer for ministry at Living Stones. We are committed to our community both inside and around our church. The clothing ministry is open to the public on the Second Saturday of the Month every month of the year. PB&J Assembly and Delivery is on the fourth Thursday of the month. The Food Ministry happens weekly and our new Food Pantry will be open two different weekends a month.

Meet our pastor & wife

Jeremiah Griffin is our pastor and leading us to put the Gospel in Action! A graduate of Maranatha Baptist University, Jeremiah is currently working on his MDiv. from The North American Reformed Seminary. Pastor Jeremiah is married to his wife and awesome mother Tancy Griffin . They have seven children and celebrate what God is doing in their home. Jeremiah preaches expository styled messages with details in the meaning and context of a particular text or passage of Scripture. It explains what the Bible means by what it says.

We are currently teaching through the series Stories We Should Know by Heart: Conquest of Canaan @ Living Stones and our Wednesday Night Bible study is on the Commands and Stories in parallel with the Rockford Reach-out Jail Ministry.
